We met at a brewery in Redlands called Escape. Scott had just moved to town the day before from Las Vegas and was out exploring his new surroundings—completely unaware that he was about to meet a slightly off-her-rocker, cat-loving teacher. What started as a chance encounter quickly turned into a few dates… and then something much better. Even with Scott working nights, we made it work, finding our rhythm and building something real in the middle of busy schedules and late nights. A year later, Scott was offered a new job across the country in North Carolina. Kelsie didn’t hesitate for a second—of course we were going. And just like that, a new chapter began on the other side of the country. After settling into life in North Carolina and growing together through every change, Scott proposed in Myrtle Beach, turning a beach day into a forever kind of moment.
