We missed each other in high school by one year, and we always lived about 15 minutes away from each other, but it wasn’t until May 2017 we would finally meet online. A quick meeting in a park, texting everyday, and then our first date on June 7th at Grimaldi’s and we’ve been inseparable ever since! Bonding over a love of theme parks, Halloween, and cats, we would find in each other a soulmate. Tyler credits Michelle for getting him out of his comfort zone and trying new things. Michelle credits Tyler for calming her anxieties and being her biggest fan. We would move in together after six months of dating, and adopting a cat a few months afterwards. It wasn’t until November 21, 2019 Tyler would pop the question!

Originally Tyler was planning a June engagement for their second anniversary, but after a few tragedies in the family he opted for later in the year. He bought the ring in September after ring shopping and discussion much earlier in the year, he bought the ring they both loved. Since they both love the fall and Halloween, he planned a romantic hay ride but he knew she would know it was coming. (It’s pretty hard to surprise Michelle) So November 21, 2019 he took her to the Morikami Japanese museum and botanical gardens, and after a whole afternoon there taking in the beautiful views, he would find himself actually chickening out and proposed to her as soon as they got home. She said yes, and they kept it a secret for a whole week. They wouldn’t tell their family until Thanksgiving, and then share it with everyone else.
