Mbotee everyone, this is Neema. I am tremendously delighted for this Union. It is a privilege to be the maid of honor. I have known Monika since we started law school in 2020. We have been accountability partners since. We studied together every semester and all nights. I couldn’t ask for a better partner to go through law school with (plus we are both Congolese 😭) . She is a gem when it comes to criminal law. I know she will be an amazing attorney. I have known Bobby as well since 2020, and he is a lovely man for her. I admire their relationship and I cannot wait to celebrate their union and love.

Mo and I went to college together. When we first met, we instantly bonded because we had so much in common and got along really well. Not only were we some of the few African students at Missouri Valley College, but we were also in the honors program, we were resident assistants, and we worked in the college cafeteria together. Over the years, we both went continued on with our academic journeys and celebrated each other along the way. When she first introduced me to Bobby back in college, I knew he was the perfect man for her. They bring out the very best in each other. I am so honored to have been a part of their journey for all these years and look forward to witnessing the wonderful blessings that lie in store for them!

Hi, I’m Kim I met Monika first at Moval in 2017 at the Honours Program orientation. Now she claims I adopted her as my friend, but in truth we adopted each other and loved and guided each other through the ups and downs of college and life. I have watched Moe grow into the wonderful woman she is today and was fortunate enough to witness her fall in love with Bobby and watch their relationship blossom into the amazing and inspiring love story it is today. Hey everyone! I’m Ronnie (Shu’Ron) and I’m one of the grown children Monika and Bobby adopted when I got to campus in 2019 (GO VIKINGS!) and of course I was one of the ones that was hard headed and didn’t listen before anyone ask (LOL)! Not only were they good role models and mentors within themselves but also a good example of what a team is suppose to look like! I’ve had the opportunity to witness Monika and Bobby’s love grow stronger and stronger for the last five years and it’s been nothing short of amazing. Being able to watch them interact and just really set an example on what love is suppose to look and feel like feels like a movie that just keeps getting better. Through the ups, downs, and distance you never had to question their love or loyalty towards each other and being able to see that lets me know genuine love still exist. When college life gets tough, who better to have by your side than true friends? Being far from home often left me feeling homesick, but I was lucky to have my best friend, Monika, there to lift my spirits. One of my favorite memories is of us lying on the prickly football field late at night, gazing at the stars and talking about life. We spent hours on that turf, snacking on our favorite treats, sipping our favorite drinks, and soaking in the joy of the moment. That night was special—it solidified what I already knew: I had a lifelong friend who would always be there for me. Over the years, we’ve shared countless fun experiences, but that heart-to-heart moment on the field remains my all-time favorite. It shaped our friendship in a way I’ll always treasure.

Hello I’m Kendall, Trey who some of you know as Bobby is My Little Big Brother. My whole life he has been the main person I looked up to and strived to be like in life. One of the most memorable moments I have of Trey is when I went to stay with him for the summer going into my junior year of high school. I don’t know what made my parents trust him or me enough but they did. So I lived in Marshall, MO for 3 months, which was actually one of the most enjoyable things i’ve ever done, he had me running bleachers and I was cussing him out the whole time😂. I remember his senior year of high school when he introduced us to Mon at his game, I could tell right away how much he cared for her and how she would be apart of the family for a long time to come. Mon and I have learned from experience that neither one of us could be exterminators or deal with rodents but that’s a story for another day 😂. But I am excited to be on this journey with both of them as they come together united as one in the eyes of the Lord. I wish you guys nothing but love, peace and happiness in your union. I first met Bobby in 2016. Our journey together has been nothing short of extraordinary. From starting as basketball teammates and later becoming roommates, we navigated college life together. Eventually, we graduated and became co-workers as we both pursued careers in coaching. We’ve shared countless memories and grown together. His support was invaluable when he stood by my side at my wedding last year, and it’s an honor to celebrate this next chapter with him. Trey and I met back when I was 14 in 8th grade when I went to watch the high school guys practice for the first time. One of the best memories I have of us is the drives to school every morning, you and Kendall would either be knocked the whole time or we’d be talking about how much we didn’t want to be going to school that day 😂 also the day when I wrecked cocaine white and yall picked me up off the side of the highway so I could make it to school in time for finals lol

Trey and I became friends in elementary school through AAU basketball. We connected through our similarly goofy and nerdy personalities. However, what separated Trey from everyone else was the confidence with which he carried himself. Of all of our shared memories, that which stands out the most involved Trey, myself, and several other friends spending the night together with the "great" idea to play killer-man football in the basement where we would tackle each other with dummy bags or yoga balls. After several rounds, I managed to ram Trey into the wall which left a HUGE hole in the wall. Shocked and semi-paralyzed from fear, everyone immediately stopped after hearing our friend's mom yell from upstairs to "sit our butts down!" Needless to say, we went to bed early that night and did not receive the usual homemade breakfast the next morning.

I met Trey through basketball we have played together on teams through elementary and high school on the AAU Scene, we builded a bond quickly because we was both very competitive and love to win. Trey was a great teammate and great leader, he brought energy everyday to practices and games. He made me look very good as a point guard when I would drive and dump it off to him for layups, he racked my assists up. I’m excited for his next journey in life with getting married, and I believe he will be a great husband just due to how hard he works and how dedicated he was when I met him.

Monika is my favorite sister in fact my only sister and she’s my best friend I’m also inspired by her. Months ago my teacher told my class to tell him about our favorite person first was my mom but Monika is a close second I said she was smart, nice, generous and a person I want to be and I still think that . I am so happy that she’s going to marry someone who makes her happy, plus Bobby is a cool guy. I should know cause game recognize game. I love you Monika and Bobby, take care of her.

I met Bobby first when he was a player at Missouri Valley making all kinds of noise on and off the court. Then when he graduated transitioned to one of my coaches. Similar to myself I then joined him on the coaching staff when I graduated. Being the energetic and passionate person that he is Bobby and I became good mates! Fast forward to present day where we are both still coaching at Missouri Valley and enjoying the grind of being college basketball coaches!
