Marble Brewery
This is where we went to celebrate after Omar proposed. Steph's favorite is the double white ale, along with their outdoor patio and delicious food trucks.
Nob Hill Bar & Grill
This bar was ground zero. Steph was sipping on a Moscow Mule and it was love at first sight for Omar! The rest is history.
Matanza Beer Kitchen Nob Hill
Great local food and 100 craft beers on tap... enough said!
Monte Vista Fire Station Restaurant
Our favorite college hangout spot to throw back a few brews with good company. For a more college scene try the upstairs bar. That's where things start to get weird.
Two Fools Tavern
An authentic Irish alehouse with a traditional dark-wood setting and stone fireplace. Great selection of Scotch and Irish whisky, but don't ask for an Irish Car Bomb... apparently they find them offensive ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sister Bar
A fun dive bar with live music, an arcade, and great tacos. The quirky décor and pinball wizards make this bar an interesting experience every time we go.
Anodyne
Beer, billiards, pinball, and hipsters make this bar our favorite pool hall ever. Very representative of Albuquerque's liberal side, but you probably already got that from the name.
Chocolate Dude
Amazing chocolate! So amazing that Stephanie had to enroll herself in Chocoholics Anonymous. Don't bring it up though... still kind of a sore subject.
Tia B's La Waffleria
Awesome brunch spot for all sorts of crazy waffle combinations. Or crepes if you're un-American. In which case you probably shouldn't come to the wedding!
Dion's
Best pizza in Albuquerque! Steph and Omar's favorite is the pepperoni & green chile pizza with green chile ranch!
Flying Star Cafe
If you're looking for good food, desserts, and coffee close to the Sandia Casino this is the place to be. Definitely Stephanie's favorite study spot.
Frontier
The Frontier is an Albuquerque tradition that was featured in an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. With old saddles, rifles, and paintings of John Wayne mounted on the wall you can't go wrong here! If you stop in you have to try either the Frontier burrito, green chile stew, or green chile cheeseburger. All 3 are must-eats!
Albuquerque Old Town Plaza
Stroll the Plaza, dine at the local restaurants, visit the museums, or shop the Southwest galleries and stores for unique gifts. If you're a die hard Breaking Bad fan like us, sign up for the RV city tour at 1919 Old Town Rd. Also, the gazebo in the plaza center is where Omar proposed to Stephanie.
Sandia Peak Tramway
The Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway sends you on a ride above deep canyons across 2.7 miles of rugged terrain. The peak is where Omar and Stephanie shot their engagement photos.
Uptown ABQ
The Uptown area is the heart of the city’s modern shopping and business district with a wide variety of shops and dining options. Our absolute favorite place here is Frost Gelato. Try the champagne gelato, Stephanie always steals mine!
