Travel Note
Visitors from the UK must have a valid ESTA to be allowed entry into the States by customs. This is an easy process, requiring only a valid passport and $21. Applying for this visa can be done through this link and should only take a couple of weeks to complete. While you do not need a physical copy of your ESTA at Customs as it is all electronic, we encourage you to print it out on the off chance it's needed.
Flight
There is no shortage of flights from the UK to Boston, but we've always had really nice experiences with Virgin Atlantic.
Hotel
This hotel is right in the heart of Medford Sq. (Jessica's hometown) and a short bus ride or long walk to Faces where our wedding party will take place.
Hotel
Located right near the Wellington stop on the Orange Line (and one stop away from Malden Station where our wedding party will be). It is very easy to get in and out of Boston from here. This hotel is also located near Assembly Row, a small hub for shopping, entertainment and dining.
Hotel
For those who want to be right in the heart of downtown Boston, we recommend this hotel. It's next to the North Station T stop where you can get on the Green and Orange lines (the Orange line will get you to Malden Station where the wedding party will be).
Travel Note
Boston's public transit system (buses and the T - our subway system) uses both prepaid "Charlie Cards" as well as contactless debit and credit cards. Charlie Cards can be purchased at all T station ticket machines. If you have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to us and we will be happy to assist.
