Eventually Sawyer and Joy got tired of hearing Sidney drone on about all of her romantic follies. They gave her an ultimatum and an out, offering to introduce her to someone “far nicer than her”. She took them up on the offer and gave them some input about who she would like to meet, “What about your friend Trey?”. Sawyer reached out to Trey and asked if he was “seeing anyone romantically” and luckily for all parties involved, the only person that Trey was seeing regularly was Master Chief. Sawyer put the wheels into motion to get both parties in the same place at the same time. At Sawyers New Years Eve bash the two spent all night together (playing naked ladies on the Megatouch). Sidney hung around until the clock struck midnight to see if Trey would kiss her (he did not) or ask for her number (he did not). Disappointed, Sidney left to head to another friends New Year’s Eve party figuring that Trey must not have been interested. While she was imagining him telling Sawyer to not put him through something like that again she received a text message from Sawyer’s dog Quinby. Knowing damn good and well that Quinby did not possess the dexterity to operate a phone, let alone text efficiently, she responded. The next day the mystery Quinby imposter admitted to being Trey and the two made plans to get dinner at Mecca… and the rest is history.
