Southwest Airlines

Southwest is our favorite airlines to fly! Their prices are all inclusive, with no additional bag or seating fees. We don't anticipate it, but given the event we have to move the date to our wedding due to COVID-19, Southwest also has no change fees, too! If you're flying from Chicago, look for nonstop flights for a smooth ride in to San Diego International Airport :)

Skyscanner

If your travel dates are flexible and you plan on coming in a few days early or stay a few days after the wedding to further enjoy sunny San Diego, we recommend checking out Skyscanner. They'll help condense several airlines and help you find the cheapest dates/airlines to fly, all in one!

Rental Car

Turo

Turo is the "AirBnb for cars", and our go-to rental spot when we need a vehicle in any city we visit. Turo is reliable, convenient, and they host luxury cars for an (often times) inexpensive rate. They'll issue you a reimbursement to catch an Uber to the closest Turo location to pick up your pre-book vehicle, and you just return to the pickup location when you're done. We recommend to download their app for convenience of pick up, drop off, and owner communication. Depending on your plans during your stay, we recommend you rent a car with Turo, rather than rely on the transportation of Uber or Lyft.

House Or Rental

AirBnb

While there are always hotel options, San Diego is a highly trafficked city, thus, having lots of beautiful options for Airbnb availability. Most places are large enough to fit a handful of people, so renting/sharing a family home is a great way to save on the travel expenses. Let us know if you have questions about the area!

Hotel Information

Our venue is located in Escondido, CA which is "North County San Diego" -- this is a good place to start in your search for hotels. For reference, San Marcos is very close (only one town north), Vista and Oceanside is about 15-25 mins, and north Oceanside/Carlsbad is around a 30 min commute.
