Located in a 19th century farmhouse, the Rice House strives to blur the lines between farm and restaurant to create a truly “garden to table” experience. HOURS: Thursday-Saturday | 5:30 p.m. -10 p.m.

Woodlands Grill

Overlooking the picturesque Fazio-designed golf course and surrounding hills, Woodlands Grill is where you’ll find delicious meals paired with an extensive wine list as well as craft beer and spirit selections. HOURS: Breakfast | 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. Breakfast Buffet available on Saturdays and Sundays. Lunch | 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Bar Menu | 2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. Dinner | 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Beer Garden at Barnsley Resort

A casual, outdoor restaurant with a fire pit, and large trees strung with twinkling lights, the Beer Garden offers a menu of Southern snacks like pickles and pimento cheese along with a variety of barbecue sandwiches and plates along with a selection of more than 30 craft beers. HOURS: Breakfast Daily: 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. Lunch & Dinner: Thursday – Saturday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Spa

Pause for a moment of total tranquility with a blissful massage, rejuvenating facial or beauty treatment in the newly redesigned Spa at Barnsley Resort. Inspired by natural surroundings, the expert therapists pair nature’s healing remedies with the latest techniques for massage, body treatments, facials and beauty services. Take an hour or two to relax and rejuvenate with 10 treatment rooms and separate relaxation areas for men and women, each complete with lockers, steam room and sauna. Or, enjoy the view while resting in the new co-ed Lounge.

Golf

A rolling 378 acres of championship greens wind around the lake, forests, and gardens of Barnsley Resort. One of the most sought-after golf courses in Georgia, the Fazio course has some of the fastest greens in the Southeast, elevation changes off the tee and one of the best collections of par 3s anywhere.

Horseback Riding

Discover Barnsley Resort’s natural beauty and fascinating history with a guided horseback ride led by an experienced trail guide. Fishing & Fly Fishing

Fishing: Complimentary fishing poles provided to guests for catch and release fishing. There is a picturesque 10-acre lake on property as well as several well-stocked ponds. Fly Fishing: Barnsley offers several stocked ponds to practice angling with a knowledgeable instructor, for experienced fly fishing enthusiasts or a novice wanting to learn the skills of tying a lure and casting a line.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Enjoy the picturesque 10 acre lake! Access to canoes and kayaks (paddles and life jackets available on a first-come, first-serve basis)

Hiking

Barnsley Resort's rolling landscape is ideal to explore on foot. Multiple trails wind along peaceful ponds, over wooden bridges and walkways, and even along the golf course. Enjoy a variety of options including a 1.8 mile 20-station Fit trail or pick up a 5k jogging or walking route at the Outpost General Store for a scenic workout.

Biking

The Outpost offers trail maps and can assist with renting resort cruisers or guests are welcome to bring personal mountain bikes for trail use. Bicycle Rentals: Up to 2 hours - Complimentary for guests Half-day (4 hours) - $40 Full-day (8 hours) - $60

Beretta Shooting Grounds

Shooting enthusiasts will discover one of the top sporting clays facilities in the Southeast at Beretta Shooting Grounds by High Adventure Company. 2 14-station clays courses boast a diverse layout of shots in the open field, under a natural canopy in the woods and over water with two reclaimed bauxite mine ponds. A covered five-stand features multiple targets for team-building games and friendly competition.

Barnsley Farm

Located below the historic ruins, you will find miniature horses, donkeys, goats at the new Barnsley Farm. For an interactive feeding experience, enjoy Feeding Time at the Farm, offered daily from 9-9:45 a.m. Open daily | 8:30am - 4:30pm Complimentary for resort guests
