WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Amanda and Ryan’s is a love story for the modern times. They met through today’s version of meeting at a bar- a dating app. In June of 2018 Amanda and Ryan matched on bumble and connected over subsequent chats. Their first date was to a local sushi restaurant chosen by Ryan followed by a movie. All through dinner Amanda was concerned about how to eat sushi without looking ridiculous, but Ryan joked and made her feel comfortable looking silly in front of him. After only 3 dates Amanda already knew Ryan was something special and found herself telling her dog Denver that she was in trouble based on how quickly she was falling for him. After spending the summer together on beach trips, date nights, pool days, and more, Ryan decided to make it official. In October of 2018 he gave Amanda a bouquet of flowers and a key to his house asking her to be his girlfriend.

Over the next 6 months of dating every time they went to a family or group function someone made a comment about how cute they were as a couple and wondering when the wedding would be. Little did they know that Ryan had the same idea. In April 2019 Ryan, with the help of his sister Chelsey, purchased an engagement ring and planned the proposal for their family trip to Iceland in the fall. At the end of the trip in front of a beautiful waterfall, Ryan professed to Amanda how glad he was that they were able to go on this adventure together and that he hoped she would go on many more with him in the future. As they stood there together in this gorgeous setting, Ryan got down on one knee and pulled out a small wooden box from his jacket pocket, and Amanda said yes!
