Thank you for joining us in a celebration of our love. Laura and Andrew met in September 2012 when they both had plans to meet the same friend for lunch at the flatbread shop in their college's library. Laura enjoyed Andrew's company so much that she skipped a meeting so she could stay longer (it was well worth it!). They became best friends quickly and found little ways to be together - when they had plans with the same group of friends, Andrew would pick Laura up a few hours early so they could go mini golfing alone before joining the group. A little over a year later, Andrew wrote Laura a poem in which he confessed his love for her; she, of course, felt the same way. The next four and a half years were filled with the most blissful memories - from Vermont to London, Cape Cod to Toronto, Connecticut to Maine, and Rockport to Rhode Island. Along the way, they supported each other through life's inevitable hardships, which only brought them closer together. The day before Laura's birthday in March, 2018, Andrew planned an entire day of birthday festivities - Max Brenner's chocolate shop, the Aquarium, and a romantic dinner at the Top of the Hub - then surprised Laura with a special walk along the water under the stars and moonlight at one of their favorite spots: Danversport Yacht Club. They traversed the winding path by the marina until they arrived at the gazebo - which was decorated with red, heart-shaped balloons, candles, and rose petals. Andrew got down on one knee in the gazebo and proposed to Laura on a night that she will never forget. As you know, she said yes! The story only begins there, and a new chapter will soon be added as they get married under the pergola at Danversport, only steps away from where he proposed on that beautiful March evening. Their marriage is seven years in the making, and is only the beginning of a wonderful new life for the two lovebirds.
