Sao Paulo (GRU) or Rio (GIG) will be the most common destinations for international flights. Make sure to fly into VIX! That's your final destination. Also keep in mind that Brazil and California have a 5h time difference. So usually flying to Brazil means you get there on the next day and coming back you might come back on the same day. It's like TIME TRAVELING!
Many of you have probably heard some sort of explanation on how brazilian weddings are different. After the ceremony we will be serving food and drinks all night. They will follow a certain order but we will not have a sit down dinner. Expect to eat, drink and dance :)
We understand this is a long flight and you might not want to do it alone. If you are planning on bringing a plus one (outside of any plus ones that were in the invitation) please reach out to us!
That is totally up to you! You will be spending 2 days traveling so staying a bit longer than a weekend would be ideal so you can get used to the timezone change, explore a bit and be ready for the wedding. We will be there already. Some friends from the US are staying for a week but again, we understand that with work schedules, etc it is challenging.
Both outdoors! The venue is by the ocean, just like we had in Half Moon Bay!
We're expecting good weather! March is end of summer so prepare for it to be warm and humid.
Beach formal!
If you're staying for a week, an airbnb would be nice so you're close to us and some of our friends! There are a lot of apartments on the beach that are big and could be shared as well depending on the group size. Regardless during the weekend of the wedding we will all be staying at the hotels listed on the "Travel" section of the website. Reach out to us if you are interested in airbnbs and we can help find a good one in a good location!
