The way we met honestly most people probably wouldn't believe would work out the way it did for us. I met another guy online through social media and was introduced to his friend group, which is were I met Aaron. We didn't talk much to each other, staying more to ourselves, until I decided I wanted to get to know who this guy was. I "bullied" him into adding me back on Discord and we started talking and getting to know each other. This led to us talking almost every day and beginning to go into calls by ourselves, away from the group. Both of us ended up catching feelings, but didn't say anything to each other, and barely admitted it to ourselves. Eventually, I convinced Aaron to admit his feelings and we started dating soon after. Fun Fact: We started dating before we even met each other in person!

I traveled out to Ohio on my winter break to spend the holidays with Aaron and his family. He had told me that he had ordered a ring, so I knew that he was probably going to propose before I went back home, but had no idea when. He had told me that he wanted to take me out to get Christmas photos on Christmas Eve, so we drove out to a small town near where he lived where there were gorgeous Christmas lights. We took some photos together, and then his mom asked if I wanted to get a photo of just me to send to my family. Aaron stepped out of the frame, and gave his phone to his mom. Little did I know, they were using his mom's phone to FaceTime my family so they could see what was happening, since they were back home in Pennsylvania. We took a photo, and I turned around to Aaron being down on one knee. I don't remember exactly what I said, but I said something along the lines of "STOP!", because it didn't feel real that it was actually happening. I just remember seeing Aaron's smiling face and his eyes lighting up with excitement, and I obviously said yes :)
