Every great love story is written in the stars — and ours is no exception. We first crossed paths on August 7, 2023, when Kwan was visiting Waterford before heading off to coordinate a wedding in Arizona. The Sun was in Leo and the Moon in Taurus that day, planting a spark even if we didn’t know it yet. On February 16, 2025, under an Aquarius Sun and Libra Moon, we reconnected, and it just felt right. Two days later, on Kwan’s birthday, February 18, our story officially began. Since then, we’ve grown through all of life’s ups and downs: meeting each other’s chosen families, building a business, juggling college, and even surviving a stretch with twelve cats in the house (plus Matthew’s cat, Tawny!). Between late nights of video games, Matthew’s rap playlists, and plenty of Taylor Swift sing-alongs, our love only grew stronger. On August 30, 2025, Matthew’s 40th birthday, under a Virgo Sun and Pisces Moon, he asked the question that changed everything. Taking a page from Travis Kelce’s bold playbook — and knowing Taylor would approve — Matthew knew what he wanted… and man, he got him And of course, Kwan said YES.
