Cozy, cute distillery with a great vibe. They make their own seltzers. Also carry some local craft beers. Smack dab in the middle of all the above breweries!

Miles and miles of cross country/snow shoe trails! (30 minutes from Portland)

Pineland Farms

The popular Casco Bay Trail carries visitors along Maine's legendary coast -- perfect for snow shoeing or a winter hike! (~ 30 minutes from Portland)

Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park

L.L Bean's flagship store located in Freeport, ME. They often time have events and discounts on outdoor activities, so check their website for fun things to do. (~ 30 min away)

Part of the Eastern Promenade, its fantastic big hill sledding right in the heart of Portland with wonderful ocean views! The Eastern Prom is also a good place to go for a run or walk with ~ 2 miles of paved trail.

Munjoy Hill

Great smaller mountain as close as it gets with lifts and a ski house. A favorite of the locals! (~ 1 hr 15 min from Portland)

Pleasant Mountain

Much bigger mountain than Pleasant and a wide range of terrain. Great for a fuller ski day or weekend. (~ 1 hr 45 mins from Portland)
