Black-Tie Optional. All black color code requested! We kindly encourage all guests to wear black attire to help us create a unified look for our celebration! A black tuxedo or floor-length gown is encouraged, but a dark, formal suit or dressy cocktail dress is also completely acceptable!
Yes, please! If you want to participate in the dress code, we kindly request that your primary outfit pieces (dresses, tuxes, suits, jumpsuits, etc) be black. Don't worry about shoes, ties, pocket squares, jewelry, purses, or other accessories—feel free to express yourself with those and add splashes of color into your look!
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We will have professional photographers present to capture how the ceremony looks, we want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day! We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!
Our wedding will be adult-only, with the exception of children in our immediate family or wedding party. We love your little ones, but our wedding is an adult-only occasion. We hope you take this as a chance to let your hair down and enjoy a fun date night!
Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.
Mid-September in Maine is stunning, but the coastal breeze can be brisk! We highly recommend bringing a coat, wrap, or pashmina for later in the evening, and choosing footwear that is comfortable for navigating outdoor coastal paths. Our ceremony will be indoors at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brunswick, and our reception and after party at the Sebasco Resort in Phippsburg will also be indoors. However, our cocktail hour will be outside on a lawn, so plan accordingly!
Yes! There is plenty of parking at both, and both are ADA compliant and accessible.
While we highly recommend that you do stay on property, there are some beautiful homes available on Airbnb and Vrbo to rent near the Sebasco Resort in Phippsburg. Additionally, you may explore hotels a bit farther away in the towns of Bath and Brunswick.
