What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive by 4:15 PM at the latest to allow time to find your seat. Doors will close at 4:20 PM, and late entry through the back door will not be permitted. We want everyone to be comfortably seated before the ceremony begins!

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

There are three parking lots near Christ Church and Haywood Hall. The largest public lots are located at 127 E. Edenton St. and 227 E. Edenton St. The Christ Church parking lot is at the corner of Blount & Edenton Streets. Parking in the public lots is free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and throughout the weekend. If you park in the Christ Church lot, please do not leave your car overnight on Saturday. Uber and Lyft are readily available in Raleigh if you prefer to use a rideshare service. Please note that the Brewgaloo Festival will be taking place in downtown Raleigh on our wedding day, so we recommend allowing extra time for travel and parking.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are just one block apart. Exit Christ Church from the main doors onto Wilmington Street, turn left, then take another left. You’ll pass the Christ Church playground on your left—continue straight down New Bern Place, cross Blount Street, and Haywood Hall will be on your left.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes – formal attire, please. We kindly ask that men wear suits with a tie, and women opt for midi or maxi dresses. Think classic, elegant, and celebration-ready! Kindly note our reception is outdoors- block heels or wedges are recommended.

We love your little ones, but this celebration is adults-only. Think of it as a well-deserved night out—enjoy it as a date night!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re keeping things intimate, so we’re only able to accommodate those specifically named on the invitation. If you have a plus one, it will be clearly indicated. Thank you for understanding!

Will Brewgaloo affect hotel parking?

Answer

We recommend entering the Marriott parking garage via the Lenoir St. entrance (37 W Lenoir St.) or the Wilmington St. entrance (425 S Wilmington St.) We received the following message from the Marriott in regards to parking during Brewgaloo: There are 2 entrances to the parking garage under the hotel, Lenoir St and Wilmington St. The following roads will be closed from 10:00 a.m. on 4-24-26 until 2:00 a.m. on 4-26-26: - Fayetteville Street between Morgan Street and the south end of City Plaza - Hargett Street between Salisbury Street and Wilmington Street - Martin Street between Salisbury Street and Wilmington Street - Davie Street between Salisbury Street and Wilmington Street
