Question

How do I get onto the military installation where the ceremony and reception are held?

Answer

Inside your RSVP will have the information we need returned to us. Please return them to us no later than March 1, 2024. We will have to turn in the information beforehand to the Visitor’s Center. They will print our guest list for you to be able to get on base with your selected photo ID (example: driver’s license or passport). This pass will only allow you access to Randolph Air Force Base on the day of the wedding (13 April 2024). You will access JBSA-Randolph via the main gate at 11420 Harmon Dr, Randolph AFB, TX 78150. Let them know you’re there for the Gunderson wedding and show them the photo ID for every adult in the car aged 18 years and older. If you already have base access because you are active or retired military, or because you work for the DoD - then no need to submit that information to us. You’ll use your Common Access Card (CAC) to get on base.

Question

Which airport should I/we fly into?

Answer

San Antonio, Texas has the closest airport - San Antonio International Airport (SAT).

Question

When is the RSVP due?

Answer

March 1st. Unfortunately, if we do not get an RSVP by the due date, you will be marked as “not attending” due to our vendors requiring a headcount by their provided time.

For all the days along the way
