Not to be confused with Gurneys Sea and Saltwater Spa. We have also negotiated a block with a 10% discount for the sister hotel, Montauk Yacht Club, which is located a couple of miles from the wedding venue. The hotel provides a shuttle between their facilities and is based on availability. Guests can still receive a 10% discount on rooms, based on availability and current room rates after the block deadline date. There is a 2 night minimum at this location. We have blocked Friday and Saturday at this location. If you would like to come earlier than that, you are still entitled to the 10% discount. Check in is at 4pm. This hotel is directly on the beach and located approximately 6 miles from Gurneys. It is conveniently located and within walking distance of town. Guest are welcome to make reservations here at any time. The resort is taking reservations now. Two night minimum.

This hotel is located 0.8 miles from Gurneys. If you would like to stay somewhere walking distance to the wedding location, this is the closest hotel. Please be aware that sidewalks are not continuous and lighting is poor.

This hotel is located approximately 6 miles from Gurneys and is an economical option. It is also a very short walk to town and across the street from the beach. Guests can call any time to book a room. Suites and kitchenettes are also available. Unfortunately, the hotel does not block rooms. The rooms go very quickly. We recommend booking here ASAP, if interested.

This hotel is located directly on the beach. It is in town and provides an economical option. Guests can call any time to book a room. The hotel is taking reservations now.

Daunt's Albatross Motel

This is another economical option for guests. There are several room layouts. Some rooms can sleep up to 6 adults. It is also approximately 6 miles from Gurneys and is located in the center of town. It is only about a 2 block walk to the beach.

Sole East is a beautiful hotel that is located very close to the wedding festivities and is centrally located as well. They have several room options and a pool. They also have a sister hotel- Sole East Beach which is, you guessed it- near the beach.

AirBnB or VRBO

Check out Airbnb and VRBO for house rentals. This is a great way to save with a group of friends or family. We suggest staying in the town of Montauk or the neighboring town of Amagansett. East Hampton is doable, but traffic, even for short distances, can be rather intense and something to keep in mind. As most of you know, July is peak season for this area and housing books up quickly. If considering going this route, March is the LATEST to solidify your plans seamlessly, with the most options and best pricing.

Approximately 100 miles from Montauk. If flying into JFK airport, there are options for 1. car rental 2. transfer to the Long Island Railroad (see LIRR notes for details) or 3. transfer to the Hampton Jitney or Ambassador (see Jitney notes for details)

Also approximately 100 miles away Montauk. If flying into LGA airport, there are the options for 1. car rental 2.) Cab to the Jamaica train station and transfer to the Long Island Railroad. (see LIRR notes for details)

Long Island MacArthur Airport Islip (ISP)

This is a small and very convenient airport to travel. There are a couple of ways to get to Montauk from ISP airport. 1. Transfer to the Jitney/Ambassador. 2. Rent a car For people flying from Tampa, Southwest and Frontier fly direct. LIRR

Taking the train is an option from NYC or various points along Long Island. There is a connection from JFK airport to Jamaica Station. A couple of things to keep in mind when considering this route is that seating is not guaranteed. If coming from NYC, there will be a transfer to a different train at Jamaica Station, in Queens. The Train line is Montauk. You can look up the various train times from the link above. Tickets can be purchased at Kiosks at the train station or ahead of time through the "MTA LIRR Train Time" app. The price is approximately $25, depending on the time of day.

Hampton Jitney

This is a bus option to get from either NYC, JFK airport or ISP airport. The bus runs frequent trips and prepaid trips cost approximately $35/seat. We strongly encourage you to purchase a prepaid seat about 1-2 months in advance to ensure a space on the bus. It is also slightly less expensive with the purchase of a prepaid ticket. There is also the Ambassador Bus which is slightly more expensive option, but provides free cocktails and more space. Car rentals are available and something to consider. Please keep in mind that although distances can be short, traffic can be heavy. Within Montauk, traffic is not a large issue.
