Marissa's favorite thing in the world is animals and she loves visiting zoos. Together, they make an effort to visit any nearby zoo in each city they travel to. Marissa's favorite zoo so far has been the San Diego Safari Park, where Garrett took her as a surprise for her 25th birthday.

Garrett's favorite ice cream comes from Fenton's Creamery right here in Oakland. On their second date, Garrett took Marissa here for her first time after a football game at Cal Berkeley. Did you know Fenton's was featured in Disney Pixar's 2009 film "Up"?
