We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!

Historic downtown Charleston hot spot for food, nightlife & lots of shopping! Visiting King Street is a must do for anyone visiting from out of town.

King Street

Shem Creek is a small area of Mount Pleasant that packs a big punch.  It's where the shrimp boats come in and it's lined with bars and restaurants.  You can grab a drink, walk out the back of any of the restaurants and relax on the dock.

If you're looking to get some sand between your toes, our favorite beach in the area is Isle of Palms.  We usually go to the 43rd street beach access, as it's a short walk from Anne's sister's house.

If you're spending an afternoon in downtown Charleston, make sure to stop at Waterfront Park! Walk the paths and take in the beautiful views of the Charleston Harbor.

A great stop for kids and adults!  Anne's 4 nephew's are regulars here and give it 8 thumbs up :)

South Carolina Aquarium

Anne's parents live on one of the fairways of this course.  If you want to get a round in, let us know. Just watch out for the gators!

Charleston National Golf Club

This is Ryan's favorite place to eat in Charleston.  This is a must visit, for a laid back vibe, indoor and outdoor areas, and of course AMAZING food!

Taco Boy

One of the best BBQ spots in Charleston.  Bring your stretchy pants, because you will want to eat everything in this place.  Prepare for a crowd... but it's totally worth it.

Rodney Scott's BBQ

This is one of our favorite breakfast/lunch spots. They have wonderful comfort food and Charleston staples like shrimp and grits and the Charleston Nasty Biscuit.. you really can't go wrong with anything you order here!

Hominy Grill

An Edgar Allen Poe themed tavern that has the BEST burgers around.  It's located on Sullivan's Island and has an awesome vibe to it with indoor and outdoor seating.  If you love burgers, this is a must visit.

Poe's Tavern

Another great BBQ spot!  They have a few other locations, but the Sullivan Island one is our favorite.  You can't go wrong with anything you get from here.

Home Team BBQ

A great little spot on Upper King Street with a retro vibe and great cocktails.  Favorite food choice:  Chicken and Waffles

The Rarebit

Halls is pricey, but it's the best place for steaks in the area. It's family owned and the service is outstanding.  If you're not in the mood for a meal, it's also a great place for cocktails with a an old school Sinatra vibe.

Great place to try all the local brews... and more.  Be sure to get a beer card and access the Wall Of Beer.
