Celebrating our love

We first crossed paths in Houston working in an intensive care unit. We became friends quickly as we shared deep conversations and realized we have similar views of the world, life and interests. We truly enjoyed our time together and eventually life-transforming experiences. Although we both value our careers and hard work, we also love to enjoy life. After several months, we realized we love and respect each other and desired to work as a team to build a family. Dorys met Eliana and Chase and they have enjoyed spending time together hiking, exploring nature, and playing. Chase addresses Dorys as "Best Friend." Despite the long distance and challenges the pandemic posed especially in early months, our love for each other grew exponentially. Throughout this time, we have shared many adventures including cycling, mountain biking, visiting state and national parks, teaching the kids to ski, enduring quarantines, learning Spanish, dancing, learning to surf, and simply truly getting to know each other. We ultimately decided we want to begin our journey to build a marriage with even more purpose. Thus, we are blessed to share this precious celebration with every single one of you.

During a very special trip to Puerto Rico, we went kayaking at night on a bioluminescent bay. In order to see the glowing organisms in the water, you need to shake the water with your hand. Gregg took Dorys' hand to show her the spectacle in the water... but instead slipped a ring onto her finger.
