Michelle and Ken met in elementary school and grew up together as close friends through high school. It wasn’t until after college, when they returned home to start their careers, that they bonded over trivia nights at local bars and eventually began dating. Fast forward eight years, two apartments, one home, two kittens, and one proposal – Michelle and Ken are eager to take the next of many steps together and tie the knot. They can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

After some not-so-subtle encouragement from Ken for Michelle to find and renew her passport, Michelle snagged the last seat (which also happened to be next to Ken) on the flight to Barcelona for a conference Ken was attending. On their first outing to explore the city, they sipped cappuccinos, watched a local club's futbol game in a park, and explored Montjuïc Castle. It was at Montjuïc Castle where Michelle had a out-of-character impulse to take a photo at, by her accounts, "the most Instagrammable spot." Ken obliged as photographer, and while Michelle was turned away fixing her hair in the wind, Ken got down on one knee. When Michelle turned around she didn't see Ken immediately until she peered down and realized this was their moment together. Out of excitement and surprise, she screamed "bah!" and threw her sweater on him. This led to giggles, a "yes!", the ring, and the most beautiful engagement week together in Barcelona.
