Train
If you are traveling from Boston or D.C., we highly recommend taking Amtrak to Trenton; it's much more straightforward than flying! Book in advance for better prices. This is also a good option for anyone wanting to add a trip to NYC either side of the wedding.
Flight
If you are traveling from abroad, we recommend flying into Newark, not JFK. (While JFK flights are often slightly cheaper, they are not worth the hassle; the airport is very difficult to get to from Yardley. If you're up for an adventure in Manhattan, though, then go for it!) For those who need to be back in England by Monday morning: United flight UA 934 gets into Heathrow on Sunday at 8:30 pm, and UA 122 lands at 9:30 pm. Train travel from the airport: Once you land in Newark, follow signs for the Air Train, which will take you to the NJ Transit station. From there, take a westbound Northeast Corridor train to Hamilton. (We recommend Hamilton over Trenton, especially at night.) The train costs about $23 and should take 45-60 mins.
Flight
Philadelphia Airport often has inexpensive domestic flights, especially on American Airlines. Train travel from PHL is a bit more complicated than from EWR but still doable! Train travel from the airport: After landing in Philadelphia, follow signs for SEPTA trains. Once at the train station (located in Terminal A), take the Airport line to Gray 30th Street Station. Transfer there to the Trenton line, and ride to Levittown, depending on your hotel location. (Total time: 1 hr 20 min) Alternatively, you can take the Airport line to Suburban Station. There, transfer to the West Trenton line, which takes you directly to the Yardley station. However, this route is much longer! (Total time: 2 hrs)
