Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport

The closest major airport is Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), located about 45 minutes from the island. This will be the final destination for most flights into the area. There is also a smaller airport on the island — Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH) — offering limited flights and destinations. If you can find a flight that works for you, it’s a convenient option, but availability can be very limited. Please note that ride-sharing services on the island are extremely limited, so we highly recommend renting a car for your stay.
