I had been going through old family photos the week before so Brady and I took a trip to Lewisburg because I wanted to show him where my Granny Effie lived and where I spent so much of my childhood. That place has always been one of my happiest places, filled with some of my most special memories, and my granny was and always will be one of the most important/favorite people in my life. Brady knew just how much that land and those memories meant to me, which is why I was completely surprised when he got down on one knee right there where so many of my happiest moments began. I truly wasn’t expecting it, and it made the moment even more special. Being proposed to in a place that holds so much love, comfort, and meaning in my heart is something I’ll never forget. It was perfect and one of the sweetest, most important moments of our lives.
