Who would have thought a Dad's conversation with a total stranger in July of 2012 would lead to the proposal of his daughter on December 11, 2019. Both were kind of leery of meeting one another so they procrastinated even though they were given each other numbers. Finally the call was made and conversations via text were had for hours. Barnado was so into Kanisha that he sent her flowers to her job without even meeting her in person. They finally agreed to meet on Kanisha's lunch break at Walmart one afternoon. The meeting was quick and short but there was no denying the connection. They ventured into a committed relationship for 7 years. Barnado just knew the time was right but didn't know the right way to pop the question. He knew the correct person to assist him her sister Tessica. They planned the proposal once and that was an epic fail because Kanisha unknowingly refused to cooperate. Back to the drawing board they go but they knew they couldn't sit on it for long because Kanisha is pretty nosey. Finally the day came where they were able to get her out the house so she could come home to the surprise she has dreamed of since she was a little girl. She walked into their house to Barnado on bended knee with a beautiful gold diamond ring surrounded with the most important little people in her life dressed in proposal shirts as her sister recorded this memorable moment. When you know you just know and these two knew they were meant to be. They did things their way in their own time. October 24, 2020 they will officially become one.
