Their journey began with a simple "hello" on Facebook Dating and blossomed into captivating conversations that seemed to flow effortlessly. As they exchanged messages, they discovered shared values, dreams, and most importantly, their love for Jesus, that kept them constantly smiling.

On this day, Demetrius was picking Glory up from work for a valentine’s dinner. At that time, what Glory did not know, was that when Demetrius arrived, he was sat on the hood of his car, with flowers and a box of chocolate waiting for her in the cold. Glory, while finishing up for the work day, was alerted of his romantic gesture by screams of excitement from her co-workers who spotted him first. After an amazing dinner at a cute Mexican restaurant in downtown Greeville, and dropping Glory off at home, Demetrius emailed her a boyfriend application (which she still has for keepsakes). After Glory review his qualifications she happily said yes to to him taking on the boyfriend job.

It happened on May 7, 2023 at 7:30pm. What was meant to be a regular date night, became the step into the next stage in their lives. When dinner was over, Demetrius feigned an emergency call with Glory's older brother, stating they were needed at Cartwright for an emergency. Upon their arrival to an empty foodhall, the song Officially Yours by T-Pain was playing, as Glory was led up the stairs to a beautiful display of love. The room dimly lit with fairy lights and candles, a walkway of roses and Demetrius on his knees, it was the perfect setting for Glory to say YES! The final icing on the cake, was hearing their family and friends creeping out of their hiding places with laughter and joy!
