Join us in celebrating our marriage

Our paths shouldn't have crossed, but we happened to be near each other at the perfect time. We connected online and started chatting for a few weeks back and forth. Finally we made a plan to meet in person. Abel decided to pick a park half ways between us to meet for the first time. We talked the night away! Something sparked in both of us and left us wanting to meet again. Glorry went home very happy but also nervous. Abel went home thinking the same. Of course, we both wanted to see each other again so we planned a second date at Nickel Nickel. We hit it off and from there, went on many adventures together. Covid then hit and making the best of it, we moved in together for the first time and never looked back. Having to stay inside a lot brought us closer together. However covid made us lose our jobs, but we still made fun out of anything available. In 2020 we bought a puppy together and went on a trip to Vegas! As time went on and people started going out again, we moved into our first apartment that we bought together. Our little space was great for the time until finding out Glorry was pregnant! 2021 was a hard year as we struggled with changing from just us two, to having a family together. We made it through that hard year by always having each other’s backs. In January of 2022, our perfect baby boy was born and he changed our lives forever. Elian is the brightest light even on our darkest day. 2022 came with raising Elian together and figuring out parenting for the first time. As Elian got older, we caught baby fever. We discussed it and decided to try for another baby so they'd be close in age. December 1st, 2022, Glorry had the flu, but was wondering why she was throwing up so much. Abel then told Glorry it was time to take a pregnancy test. It was positive! We were having another baby! Our beautiful baby girl Emiliana was born in July of 2023, and she has brightened our life as well. Continuously our lives have grown closer and closer together. We had our 4-year anniversary in January 2024 as engagement and wedding talk started to trickle into our conversations. It was Mother’s Day and Glorry had been wanting to go to a vineyard for the first time with Abel to celebrate! However, when the day came, our entire family got sick with covid. Glorry was very disappointed as they had to cancel the trip. They decided together that they still wanted to go once everyone was feeling better. May 25th, 2024, came along and we decided to go to a vineyard that day. Sort of a redo of Mother’s Day. Glorry had no idea what was to come. The first vineyard we were headed to ended up only being a winery and it was not the nicest. There was no vineyard at all. Abel thought it was not what he had in mind to propose. He had been having the ring for a month just waiting for the right moment. We still sat down and had some wine, but Glorry brought up the fact that it wasn’t what we wanted and we should see if there are any other vineyards near there. Real vineyards. Luckily there was one only a few minutes away. Now this was a vineyard. It was gorgeous there and at a wonderful time of day. We had a beautiful relaxing day there doing a wine tasting with cheese. As we were about to leave Glorry wanted to take pictures near the vineyard to remember this nice day together. Abel found the most beautiful spot away from everything. He took a very long time setting up the phone which made Glorry question why he cared so much. The first two timed pictures were just genuine pictures and then on the third without her knowing, he pressed the video button and as we kissed, Abel got down on one knee and proposed!! Glorry did not expect it at all and she was over the moon about it. She was so surprised and of course said YES!! This was just the beginning of our long journey together and we cannot wait to share this next chapter with all of you at our wedding!
