All stories start somewhere and ours started at one of my favorite places, now for two reasons. On this particular morning I found myself going about my routine involving the fresh and delicious brew of Starbuck's coffee. I had ordered my usual (caramel frappuccino) then proceeded to the waiting area to await for my name to be called. Moments later this guy stood right in front of me and I thought that was just so rude. I asked him "Are you waiting in line?" He replied " Yes." Then I said "I was here first." My sass was mistakenly translated as interest because this guy started to flirt with me. I soon found out he had a name, Eric. I enjoyed his humor and thought it was cute but still rude for standing in front of me. By this point I had already picked up my drink and was, to be honest, getting bored with the conversation. I told Eric I had to go now then he asked for my number which I rejected but provided my snapchat username. We chatted back and forth for a short period of time but eventually the communication was less and less until we were strangers again. About a year later goes by and we run into each other on a night out with mutual friends. Small world, right? We started to talk and catch up on life and how we knew the same people. After this interaction I wanted to know more about this Eric guy, who wasn't so rude this time around. Time went on and we grew closer and started hanging out more and more, going from stranger, to friend, to boyfriend and now fiancé. Crazy!
