It was late summer 2016. We had just enrolled in a nursing program and arrived at our orientation session as complete strangers. We were blissfully unaware of what awaited us: long nights, even longer assignments, unreasonably early mornings, and an endless amount of skills checkoffs. I walked into this new adventure with a purpose: I was going to make a friend. Roger, unknowingly the target of this mission, sat down. I sat next to the tall stranger, determined to be successful. And I was. I made a best friend for the rest of my life, who I will happily call my husband. We hope you join us in celebrating our wedding!
