Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Turks and Caicos?

Answer

YES! You must have a valid passport to travel. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date. You can read more information here: https://www.visittci.com/travel-info/entry-requirements

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID?

Answer

No. As of April 1, 2023, Turks and Caicos has removed COVID-19 travel requirements. There is no vaccine, testing, or insurance requirement.

Question

Which airport am I flying into?

Answer

You will be flying into the Providenciales International Airport (PLS). There are direct flights from NYC.

Question

How do I get to and from the airport?

Answer

We've used Provo Connection https://www.provoconnectiontci.com/ to book airport transfer between Seven Stars and Providenciales airport. Another option is Majestic Taxis and Tours and other options for airport transfers at https://www.viator.com/ Regardless of whichever transportation company you use, contact them on WhatsApp or text to confirm your pickup time/flight details.

Question

Do I need a car?

Answer

No, Seven Stars is located as central as possible in Grace Bay. Everything is in walking distance. In the event you want to explore the rest of the island, you will need a car. We have rented from Grace Bay Car Rentals before and highly recommend them: https://gracebaycarrentals.com/

Question

What about my kids?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, this is an ADULT ONLY celebration. We hope you understand.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Question

What if I want a roommate?

Answer

We are happy to try to find a roommate for you - please let us know ASAP!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We especially recommend lighter fabrics such as cotton or linen to keep cool. For the ladies, recommend nice sandals or wedges instead of pointed heels.

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside on the beach!

Question

What about inclement weather?

Answer

We recommend getting travel insurance. We've purchased travel insurance in the past from https://www.trawickinternational.com/ Mid October is the tail end of hurricane season, and since 1950 there have been 11 tropical storms or greater within a 60 mile radius of the Turks and Caicos islands. For more information, see https://coast.noaa.gov/hurricanes

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary concern?

Answer

Please reach out to us if you have any allergies or dietary concerns- they will be accommodated however we can!

Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

RSVPs were due August 1.

Question

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve secured a block of rooms at Seven Stars Resort. We highly recommend booking your room(s) ASAP as we cannot guarantee that your desired room will be available the longer you wait.

Question

Do I have to stay at Seven Stars?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at Seven Stars as all wedding festivities will be held there. In addition to that, it is in a central location in Grace Bay and one of the nicest hotels in Turks and Caicos with convenience all around. However, you are welcome to stay elsewhere and still attend our wedding.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is quite literally our present! We know that Turks and Caicos is expensive and appreciate everyone flying out to join us. We do not expect any gifts. However, if you would still like to send us a gift, please contribute to our honeymoon fund on the Registry tab. Thank you for your love and support!

Question

Are there any other wedding events I'm invited to?

Answer

We are planning casual, completely optional events on Oct 11-13. See the schedule tab.
