We kindly ask guests to dress according to the style of each celebration: – Traditional Wedding (October 18): Traditional African attire is warmly encouraged. We look forward to seeing everyone in beautiful garments that reflect our shared heritage. – Religious Wedding & Reception (October 24): Formal attire is requested. Ladies, please wear floor-length gowns. Gentlemen, suits are preferred. Kindly refrain from wearing white or ivory.
We’ll be celebrating across two special days: – Traditional Wedding: Friday, October 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM – Religious Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Thursday, October 24, 2025. The ceremony begins promptly at 3:00 PM, with a cocktail hour to follow and the reception starting at 5:30 PM. We know Congolese time can be a little flexible, but we’d really love for everyone to be on time—especially for the religious ceremony. This is one of the most important and sacred moments of our lives, and it would mean so much to look out and see the people we love there with us as we make our vows. Please try to arrive 15–30 minutes early to be seated.
Your presence—especially at the ceremony—is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. Sharing that sacred moment with the people we love means everything to us. That said, if you feel led to give, we’ve set up a few options to support our future together, including a registry, a honeymoon fund, and contributions toward a down payment on our first home. You can find our registry linked here on the site, or you’re welcome to send gifts directly: Zelle: Gloria T – (513) 800-3218 Cash App: $GloriaTshabola
