G : We met through Tay’s brother Decoreya. He and I are actually good friends and just randomly one day he told me, “My brother wants to talk to you”. I was shocked because I hadn’t even met Tay yet. Decoreya invited me to Tay’s birthday party the year prior but I end up not going, so I was thinking he must’ve seen my instagram. I looked Tay up and I saw on instagram that we already followed each other. So I gave Decoreya the okay to give him my number. After conversating with him for 2 days, I immediately thought , “I think this man is going to be my husband”. Now here we are! D : We met through my brother Decoreya. I looked her up on instagram and I was following her already and I didn’t even know.I had seen her through my brothers IG story when he would post them hanging out. She immediately caught my eye and I just randomly told him “I want GeGe. Put me on ! “ and the rest is history.

G : Our first date was a Saturday movie date. He picked me up from my house and he was on time! That was definitely a great first impression. We went to the movie in Green Hills to see The Strangers. We had such a great time we ate and had some margaritas. I remember during the date I loved the fact that he was a good driver, so I was just enjoying being the passenger princess. The first date was such a success, that we agreed to go on another date the very next day. D : Our first date we went to Green Hills to see Strangers . Crazy thing was I left my wallet at home. So we had to figure out how we were gonna get some drinks . Just her not tripping and us being able to put our heads together from day one at that moment I knew she was gonna be my wife. Another women in her position would’ve had something to say or caught an attitude or maybe even not wanted to do another date. Not her she handled it so well and we ended up having a good night. I was ready to see her again so we agreed and went out on our second date the next day.

G : We love to find a good series and binge watch with each other. We both love a good date night. D : We love to make bets with each other on different things when watching certain shows. Loser typically pays for next date or maybe a shopping spree.

G : The proposal was everything I could have imagined! I still think about that special day. All of the the planning, the attention to detail and the set up was unimaginable! I knew the time was coming soon because we were getting very serious and having frequent talks about marriage and etc. However, I really didn’t think Tay was going to propose during his birthday weekend. That day was full of tears and joy! We had so much fun with our family and friends . It was such a vibe! D : The proposal was everything I expected it to be and more. I wanted to do it on my birthday but the way things lined up and people’s schedule we did it the day before . I wanted to show that I wasn’t selfish and wanted it to not only be a moment about me but for Gloria. I also wanted it to be a total surprise so that was the perfect time.

G : I’m most looking forward to celebrating this special day with all of our loved ones! I’m so ready to officially be my man’s wife. D : I’m most looking forward to Finally & Officially tying the knot. Seeing all the hardwork that has been put in, comes to life. I’m also ready to enjoy this moment with our loved ones & have a ball !!
