Cody and Gloria’s love story all began when Cody decided to send a DM to Gloria on Instagram. At first Gloria left him on read for about 24 hours. But don’t worry, she eventually messaged him back. After talking for a week or so over the phone, they planned to go on their first date. Cody picked Gloria up on a very snowy November night and after running several red lights due to his little Ford Focus not being able to stop in the snow, they made it to Vatos. The two chatted over tacos and immediately felt a connection. They were completely inseparable after that night and made it official on January 1st, 2023. Gloria and Cody welcomed their first baby boy the following January, and named him Zurich James. By November of 2024 the couple bought their first home together for little Zurich to grow up in. Fast forward to July 11, 2025 the two love birds finally got engaged at the beautiful Twin Lakes in Leadville, Colorado. Not long after that the couple learned that they would be welcoming another perfect baby boy into their family. Baby Redmond Thomas made his appearance in February of 2026. Then, the couple got to work planning their dream wedding. Cody and Gloria have waited for this day so eagerly and they can’t wait to honor the Lord with this life-long covenant to God and to each other.
