If you have some free time while you’re in town, we’d recommend stopping by Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa. It’s a great place to walk around, enjoy the marsh views, grab a drink or something to eat, and explore the grounds. They also have restaurants, bars, and a small shopping village with boutiques and local shops, so it’s a nice spot to spend an hour or two even if you’re just sightseeing.
We recommend spending a bit of time exploring downtown Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. It’s very walkable and has a mix of boutique shopping, restaurants, and historic streets worth wandering through. Some favorites include Colie’s Clothing + Gifts and Hudson & Perry for shopping, along with Garden Street Bistro for brunch and David’s Restaurant & Lounge for a nice dinner.
