Travel Note

High Altitude Tips

Stay hydrated, drink up to twice as much water to help avoid dizziness, headaches, and altitude sickness before and during your trip to higher altitudes. Alcoholic drinks will feel stronger at higher altitudes. Wear plenty of sunscreen. The sun is more intense at this altitude and you will burn quickly outdoors, even in the winter. Dress in layers when out and about since the weather can change quickly. Bring warmer layers for when the sun goes down. It does get chilly.
