Things To Do

Lafayette isn't the most happening place for a vacation, but here are a few recommendations to make your stay more interesting!

Merlin's Beard

220 Columbia Street, Lafayette, IN 47901
, (765) 714-4441

Jonathan and I have been only once, but we loved it! You pay a flat fee to enter and play as many board games as you like! The restaurant boasts the nerdiest menu, but super fun.

The Cellar Wine Bistro

1001 Main Street, Lafayette, IN 47901
, (765) 746-6754

This is the bougiest restaurant Heather has ever visited in Lafayette. Not overly affordable, but you'll definitely get your fancy on for this place.

Columbian Park Zoo

1915 Scott Street, Lafayette, IN 47904
, (765) 807-1540

Not the fanciest zoo you'll ever go to, but lots of simple fun for the kids! They have otters and monkeys and even a butterfly garden. A fantastic park and playground is just next door if you need something free to do with the kids!

Fair Oaks Farms

856 North 600 East, Fair Oaks, IN 47943
, (219) 394-2025

A bit of a drive, but the ice-cream alone is worth it! There are also lots of exhibits to learn about dairy farming and agriculture.

Canal Park

1030 North Washington Street, Delphi, IN 46923
, (765) 564-2870

In Heather's hometown, this park has some lovely walking paths and even a museum dedicated to the Wabash and Erie Canal.

Sun King Kokomo

500 North Buckeye Street, Kokomo, IN 46901
, (765) 416-0599

Heather visited this bar over a year ago when it was named "The Tin Man Brewery." With Steam Punk vibes and lots of board games to borrow, this is the perfect place to catch up with friends.

For all the days along the way
