Black-tie. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or dark colored suit and women wear a floor-length gown. Please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: Whites, Ivories, and Creams.
The ceremony / reception will both take place indoors and cocktail hour will take place outside on the piazza.
Please arrive at 4:30pm to be seated as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm.
Yes! Drinks are on us, hangover on you!
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only except for the bridal party. We hope this allows everyone to have a fun date night!
A New Orleans wedding typically does not include a seated dinner, but, rather, consists of light hors d'oeuvres passed around during cocktail hour. During the reception, there are typically open action stations and buffets, with emphasis on lots of food options, lots of beverages, and a highly dynamic and social atmosphere that allows guests to move freely about the reception space. Seating is left open for guests to choose their own seats and tables.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer and videographer to capture the best moments. Once the ceremony is over, we encourage as many photos as possible be taken at the reception to capture the night, and don't forget to share them with us!
Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!
Per Hotel Peter & Paul's agreement with neighbors, there is no guest parking available on-site (unless you are a hotel guest) or on the surrounding streets. We ask that you take an uber / lyft or cab if you are not staying on property.
