We met through a mutual friend in May 2002 and even tho we already were enjoying our lives, we had a spark for each other that wouldn’t subside. I knew then I wanted this girl to be mines. So on June 29, 2002; I did just that. We both was young and madly in love. We spent every day, every second together; either in person or on the phone. I then knew I wanted her to become the mother of my children and I, the step father to her two sons. We then conceived our first child together in January 2003, but unfortunately we lost that one. We then conceived another one and we felt complete as a family of five. I tried everything in my power to make sure that my family didn’t have a want, desire and care in the world. So that meant that I had to bend some rules and that took me away from all of them. I eventually came home on October 31, 2004 but it was after my beautiful daughter, D’Asia arrival on October 9, 2004. I had to get back on my feet and hold it down. It took me about a year and half to two years to put myself in a mental and financial state to be a better man. In 2007, Izzy then asked for me to move in and be a full time father. That was the best thing for me, because we grew stronger. We had another child, D’Aira together on May 1, 2008. A year later in May of 2009 , I asked Izzy’s parents for her hand in marriage. On September 19, 2009, I married the woman of my dreams. It was one of the most amazing days on my life. What was even more amazing is that we found out that Izzy was 5 months pregnant with Dante; he was born on April 6, 2010. Now my little family became big as hell. For eight years, Dante has told us that he wasn’t there for our wedding. So we’re doing it again. Not just for Tay, but for us. Marriage is not the easiest thing, but we try hard to figure it out and make it work. We both were young when we married and have grown together. So we want to renew our vows and continue to strive to have an loving, everlasting marriage.
