We had mutual friends online, and Nikki randomly added Aaron on Facebook one day while curiously meeting new people upon joining RIT/NTID and secretly thought Aaron was cute. Both immediately felt a little queasy towards each other because when you know, you know. After meeting each other for the first time at a friend's birthday in Province 8104, both parties felt that spark of attraction. The rest is history after turning that spark into long-term.

We were no strangers to discussing our plans to get married one day and our intentions of spending the rest of our lives together. Although Nikki knew Aaron would inevitably propose, she certainly did not expect it when it happened. The proposal took place right on the Nikki Beach, right next to Miami's South Beach.
