We met on July 25th, 2021 - like anyone does nowadays, on a dating app. We texted for a few days before meeting in person at Kubota Gardens in South Seattle. The date went so well we went & got brunch (where I learned about his love of bacon). We started hanging out regularly a couple weeks in & he attempted to call me his gal-pal which I promptly informed him that I would be his girlfriend or friend, but not gal-pal LOL. We found a mutual love of day trips in and around the Seattle area and abroad! This year we bought a big home in south Seattle and we cannot be happier! It is filled with our 3 cats, our older dog Bubba, our puppy Gus, and a whole lotta love. The yard is big enough to have a nice-sized garden while also leaving space to host BBQ's. I'm not sure when we became best friends but being together has been the easiest and most rewarding thing. We are super excited to spend the rest of our lives building more memories together :)
