FAQs

Below are a bunch of questions you may have! If there are still questions you have, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Your comfortability is the most important to us! Suits and ties are not necessary! We are encouraging folks to wear khakis, flannels/button ups, sweaters, dresses, etc. Those on the grooms side will be in khakis, flannels, and converse and those on the brides side will be in crushed velvet dresses. We encourage wearing layers as it can be chilly in Philadelphia in the fall - Renaissance fair themed outfits are always welcome! The color scheme of the wedding is very autumnal! Think burnt oranges, reds, light blues, and greens. No colors are off limits except white.

Question

Is parking available nearby?

Answer

There are over 100 free parking spots on location very close to the entrance of the venue. There are also a couple accessible parking spaces available.

Question

Answer

Answer

We ask that you please contact the bride or groom if you intend on bringing children to the wedding.

Question

Answer

Yes! The entire event will take place in doors so it can happen regardless of the weather!

Question

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

While we don't plan to have an "unplugged" wedding, we ask that you respect that we have hired a professional to take photos throughout the day and therefore, ask that no one use any professional photo equipment during the event (phone photos are fine!) and please refrain from using your phone during the actual ceremony. That said, if you do take photos with your phone and post them on social media, we'd love to see them! Please tag Sabrina and Mark on Facebook or tag Sabrina (@sabrinaravenglass) on Instagram so we can enjoy the day all over again.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

While we are still choosing our menu, we intend on having a buffet style meal that is conscious of our guests who are vegan/vegetarian and those with allergies. If you have allergies you're worried about, please let us know!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that, due to venue policy, folks don't arrive until approximately 10-15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Question

Can I bring a date/friend?

Answer

Unless your invitation provides you with a "plus one", we ask that you don't bring another guest as we will have already provided a guest list to the venue and paid for a certain number of guests to eat.

Question

How will seating work at the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held in the Mirror Room of the venue and guests will be given assigned seats.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it last minute?

Answer

While we'll be sad that you're not there, please reach out to the bride or groom as soon as you know you won't be able to attend.
