The question on everyone's mind... how did you two meet, and fall in love? (Kelly): After a series of just bad relationships and being single for 4yrs, Kelly decided to try a new dating app called Hinge. This one was different because it was not simply swipe right or left. You had to actually like or comment on something. So Kelly's headline was that she was looking for "a cowboy or at least someone who looked or could act like one." When Jeremy commented that he, "thinks he knows a guy," Kelly took a look at his profile picture, and didn't know what she was thinking even giving him a chance! (Jeremy): In a rut himself, with one bad relationship after another and not really going anywhere, he was playing golf with a friend. He learned about Hinge, so Jeremy decided to give it a try. A bet was made between Jeremy and his friend that for every girl he went on a date with from Hinge, he had to take him golfing. Luckily for Jeremy, he only had to pay up once. They first connected on January 17th (Kelly's daughter, Elodie's birthday) and immediately started acting like teenage kids who video chatted, texted, and talked for hours every night. Their first date was on January 21st. They both stepped outside their "box" of what type they dated to give each other a try. The date was mild and casual. It consist of walking along Temp Town Lake, and then grabbing a drink on Mill Ave. Jeremy kissed Kelly, but was a gentleman and walked her to her car and said goodnight. That was it. Jeremy has always stated that he knew this was going to be different and special. For Kelly it took a little longer. Jeremy said "I love you" first, and always pushed the relationship forward even through Kelly's stubbornness and reservations. One example was moving in together after only 2.5 months on April 1st. Fast forward 6 months. Kelly knew a proposal was coming and decoded the first attempt to surprise her. So Jeremy came out of left field on Christmas Morning. Through a series of scavenger hunt questions wrapped in Christmas presents, Kelly found her way with Elodie in tow, to an empty ring box and Jeremy down on one knee. One thing is clear and always will be... through it all, Jeremy and Kelly realized quickly that forever and always they will be... Better Together.
