We want to share our love, not our germs! In order to protect our family and keep our event from making the news, we are asking guests to take the following precautions. To reduce the chance someone accidentally attends with COVID, please socially distance and stay home as much as possible in the 2 weeks prior to our wedding. We are asking guests to avoid restaurants, parties, and large gatherings entirely, and other public areas unless absolutely necessary. Please get tested if possible. If you feel sick or have any symptoms, stay home! If you have come into contact with COVID-19, definitely stay home!! While we love you all very much, we ask that you refrain from hugging us or others at the event. Again, our priority is safety and socially distancing. We don't like these precautions, but they are unfortunately necessary in order for us to safely hold a wedding in a pandemic. If these precautions do not work for you, we are sorry you will miss our wedding, but we understand.

We are aiming for a golden hour ceremony around 5:00pm, so arrive with enough time to find your seats and get comfortable. Perhaps grab a cocktail (or two).
We of course want all of our guests to be comfortable and feel their best, so they can celebrate with us and have an enjoyable evening. That being said, cocktail/semi-formal attire is preferred. Masks are required. When choosing your duds, please keep in mind that our event is required to be outdoors. We will primarily be on a grassy lawn, so pointy and/or toeless heels may not be the best option. Also, while we will have heaters and blankets, there is the possibility that it will get slightly cooler in the evening, (The Farmer's Almanac predicts around 43 degrees after sunset). so plan accordingly.
In order to keep in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines as well as to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we are limiting our guest list and only those who have been explicitly invited will be allowed to attend. We would love to see your plus ones, but unfortunately we need to keep this event to named guests only. To keep numbers low and to be as safe as possible, we are limiting guests to our immediate family and to people very close to us who are following adequate precautions!
We want to give all of our guests with kiddos the opportunity to have a night out without parental duties, so please leave all children with grandparents or babysitters. Please reach out if you would like recommendations for reputable sitters in our area.

Of course. Food allergies are a very big deal to us (we work in a gluten free, vegetarian cafe, are primarily dairy and soy free, Kris has been a vegetarian for years and is always into trying on a new diet), so please let us know if you are following any sort of dietary protocols for any reason and we will find a way to accommodate. Please include this info with your RSVP.
