Her Story: A week before graduating from the University of Cincinnati, I was out celebrating the end of college life with friends at our favorite bar, Clifton Heights Tavern. Feeling slightly intoxicated and a little bold, I spotted a cute guy standing at the bar and decided to cause a little mischief. I poked him on the shoulder and quickly ducked, pretending it wasn’t me. It took a few tries, but eventually he caught on… and when he did, he bought me a beer. The rest, as they say, was history. His Story: I was at Clifton Heights Tavern with friends when I kept feeling someone tap my shoulder — but every time I turned around, no one seemed responsible. After a few suspicious taps and a lot of confusion, I finally caught the culprit. Instead of being annoyed, I figured the playful stranger deserved a beer… and that moment ended up changing everything. Our Story: After college, we made downtown Cincinnati our home, building a life together filled with laughter, love, and our two very spoiled cats: Kenai, our white mischief-maker, and Koda, our sleek black cuddle buddy (named after the brothers from Brother Bear). Our adventures continued in Charleston, South Carolina, where Josh planned a truly unforgettable surprise. On October 24, 2025, at the Pineapple Fountain, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him — and I said yes! From playful beginnings to new cities, cats, and unforgettable moments, our journey has been full of love, laughter, and adventure. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
