Our relationship is unique, and our story explains it all. Daniel and I met on an online dating app. Ironically enough, we were both going to the same bar, "Beer Mongers" fairly frequently, and might have even seen each other there before without actually know it. When Daniel messaged me, I was entranced by his witty humor. He began the message by saying I was the first actual girl, and not a robot, to match with him. Daniel pursued me for a solid month before I agreed to go on a date with him. During one of our text conversations, my car broke down, and he offered to come "save me" by being my "White Knight." It was the sweetest and kindest gesture I experienced with a man I barely even knew! I was smitten. Our first official in-person date was at Beer Mongers. I was over an hour and a half late... anyone who knows me well knows I am always late. He stuck around and waited! We had our friends there to make it a little less awkward. Our next dates included sharing our love of diner food, driving around for hours to random places, Primanti Brothers, and sharing our secret obsession with Lil Wayne. We share a special "parent-type" bond with our fur babies, Caddy and Chewy. Over a year and a half ago, we bought our first home together. Humor plays a huge role in our relationship. We laugh together everyday. Our engagement was especially different being that it involved clear ponchos, face masks, Hogwarts Castle, and a thunderstorm. We are so excited to take this next step, and spend the rest of our lives together!
