This is our favorite local resort! Arrowwood offers a variety of summer activities to enjoy, including a beautiful deck bar, and outdoor pool and beach. The resort is located on Lake Darling and just a 15 minute drive to our home (where our wedding will be taking place). Since this is a popular summer resort, the special rate is based on a first come first serve basis and we recommend booking sooner rather than later. Also, to get this rate you must call the reservation desk to book your rooms.

The Fairfield is another option for our wedding travelers. This hotel is the newest one in Alexandria, close to I-94 and roughly 10 minutes from the wedding venue (our home!). The room block rate of $149 is available for Friday and Saturday night. You can book this hotel directly through the website that pops up when you open this page.

Our neighbor just beyond our home on Cherry Point has graciously allowed us to have a few campers park on his lot for the wedding weekend if anyone is interested. There is no electrical or water but it is a fairly flat and grassy layout for campers or tents. Please let us know if you are interested in this option.
