Flight
There are three major airports in Sardinia: - Olbia OLB (EASIEST OPTION) - Cagliari CAG (about a 4h train ride from the airport to the downtown of Olbia.) - Alghero AHO (1h 45min drive from Olbia) There is no direct flight from the U.S., so you will connect either in Italy or else in Europe. Al Italia, British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, KLM and the other major carriers from the U.S. They typically connect to Sardinia via Paris, Amsterdam, or Frankfurt. Typical fare for summer flights (if bought in advance) range from $850-1200. If you have any question reach us and we will be happy to advice or suggest. Easyjet and Ryanair also connect major European cities to Sardinia. This is an effective cost-saving option if you book early in advance. Connecting flights with these airlines typically range from 100-200 euro roundtrip.
Hotel
This hotel is also the venue for the wedding! We recommend staying here the evening of the wedding. We also have a few other recommendations that are within walking distance of the venue. July is high travel season and this is a very popular hotel, so book far in advance. The discount code is case sensitive, so make sure to add it into the checkout as GIUSAMY.

House Or Rental
Apartment rentals within walking distance of the wedding and reception.
House Or Rental
There are plenty of AirBNB rentals available in the area. You will want to reserve an apartment well in advance due to July being high season for travel. You may also consider finding AirBNBs in Olbia. If you stay in Olbia the evening of the wedding will need a car for transportation.
Rental Car
Sardinia offers rentals by all major rental companies. BE SURE TO REQUEST AN AUTOMANTIC IF YOU CAN"T DRIVE STICK. ;) These are in limited supply so you will want to book your car well in advance.
Train
Trains are cheap, but the only one that I consider reliable is the one from Cagliari to Olbia, and vice versa. It's a 3h30 journey and costs about about 15 euro. Hop on the train directly from the Cagliari airport.
