If you've never been to Venice, you must go! Our favourite bacaro's (Venetian wine bar or osteria that serves small plates of food called cicchetti and wine in small glasses called ombre) in Venice are: - Da Remer (also for dinner) - Paradiso Perduto (also for dinner) - Da Lele (an institution, aperitivo only) - Osteria la vedova (also for dinner) https://www.lonelyplanet.com/italy/the-veneto/attractions
Giulia's hometown and where Aperol Spritz is from ;) Recommend having late breakfast at Bar Nazionale with a "trammezzino caldo" with and Aperol spritz or a glass of Prosecco. Half day visit or just a few hours stroll will suffice!
If you're extending your stay, we highly recommend you visit Verona!
An alternative to Venice and for a nice lunch out.
