Wine red

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to allow for parking.

Question

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

We will be celebrating a full Catholic mass, so expect our ceremony to last an hour.

Question

What should I know about a Catholic ceremony?

Answer

Due to the participatory nature of the Catholic liturgical celebrations, we will be providing guests with an Order of Service so that you may follow along. There should be a level of reverence when in the Catholic church, so please refrain from eating, drinking, or using your phone during the ceremony. As long as you are following our dress code of cocktail attire, you should be dressed appropriately for the mass.

Question

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

In order to respect the sanctity of the ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photographs and being on your phone during the service.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will be having beer, wine, and two signature cocktails. We want you to have a great time, especially if you are willing to sit through an hour long ceremony for us! ;)

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Are our kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party.

Question

Will there be any Mexican traditions during the reception, and can I participate?

Answer

Yes, and we would love for everyone to participate! La Vibora del Mar: Guests will form a long chain (the snake) and dance around the venue. The bride and groom stand on chairs while guests pass under a veil or arch, symbolizing the obstacles and support in our new life together. Money Dance: During the reception, guests are invited to dance with us while pinning money on our clothes. This is a traditional way to show support and respect for the newlyweds.
